Experience Sampling

Experience Sampling is a method to measure behaviour, thoughts, and feelings of study participants throughout their daily lives. Data is collected through self-reports completed by the study participants. AWARE-Light makes it easy to collect such data.

Digital Phenotyping

Without the need to program, you can collect a wide range of sensor data from participants’ smartphones. The available sensors include running apps, location, keyboard, accelerometer, light, battery, calls and messages, and lots more.

Secure and open source

All recorded data leaves participants’ phones encrypted, and is sent directly to your own MySQL server. You can inspect and contribute to the source code for this project. This software is free to use and extend, and is an international collaboration effort.
